you’d expect from a camera in this price range.I used this camera for well over a month for all of my online meetings and for some still images. The camera functions are top-notch. Images are sharp and vibrant. The camera offers 4k resolution and a wide field of view that allows capturing enough background with sufficient clarity to make cropping in post a worthwhile exercise.

If you happen to get one that works, this seems like a fine choice. But the one I got would not focus. I went back and forth with the manufacturer support/help, and we determined the unit was defective. I returned for a refund rather than a replacement, as it made me question the quality control (and therefore general quality) of the OBSBOT brand. I bought a more popular name brand and it works great.

The reason you’d buy this camera is if you need a camera that tracks motion. It does a really good job moving smoothly and keeping the subject in frame. It has a good 4k camera and has the ability to use hand signals to allow for zoom and turn “track subject” on and off. With a camera like this, everything is going to be in focus.
